The lyre is an instrument made with a ground turtle shell, horns, a crossbar and a wooden bridge that rests on a skin. It has 7 strings and was used in ancient Greece as a healing instrument, among other things. Metamorphosis is a one-man concert. Luis Paniagua plays his music for a single listener, who will be involved with the sound vibration of the lyre and the transcendental intention of the voice. A session to create a unique atmosphere that will lead the listener to his/her own interior, to be with oneself, in a delicate and exquisite space of love. Fifty minutes of riding and flowing in the eternal present.
Luis Paniagua comes from Spain. His first contact with the lyre was in 1974 to record the pioneer album “Music of Ancient Greece” as a member of “Atrium Musicae” of Madrid, Spain. From 1980 he dedicated exclusively to compose his own music with many instruments of the world. And since 1999 he is mainly devotes himself to play the lyre and singing, as balm and company in this world in the path of Love, Truth, Beauty and Purity. He has recorded 16 albums as a composer. He is the winner of The World Music Torchbearer Award (2012). His album Nanas de Sol won the National Award for the Best Album of the year 2002, given by the Academy of Arts and Science of Music of Spain and he was one of the nominees for his album Bienvenida in 2003 for the same award. He has performed many concerts in Europe, America and Asia. In Spain, Luis is considered among the pioneers of New music, World music and Spiritual music without words and with words of wisdom, without being of a specific religion.
